PWM VS MPPT

Kort sagt pwm laderegulator tvinger solcellen til at køre ved den spænding man lade til 12 eller 24volt.Så hvis man har et 12 volts batteri og bruger en PWM laderegulator kan solcellen altså også kun køre ved 12 volt. 

MPPT (maximum power point tracing) laderegulatoren giver her solcellen lov til af køre ved den spænding som giver mest effekt. Så ved ladning på et 12 volts batteri kan det godt være solcellen har 17 volt. Det kan give et sted mellem 10-30% mere.
